Seasoned Offer

An offer of shares or bonds by a company that is already listed on a stock exchange. In contrast to an initial public offering by a company which is being listed for the first time. A seasoned offer can be in the form of an offer for sale to the public as a whole or a placing with a restricted set of institutional investors.
