1. Initially, requires a generic definition. i.e. ownership in asset. 2. Shareholder equity is a type of equity. By using the term 'stake', the liabilities of the company are not mentioned. 3. Equity markets can be defined later or as a separate link. 4. Equity in property should also be defined due to its popular usage for mortgaging and re-mortgaging.
