Euro zone
The euro zone refers to the 16 countries, as of 2009, that use the EU's single currency, the euro. They are Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta and Slovakia.
