Anymatters is a user name of Jeffry Merril Liando (Jeff) for his contribution in Reuters Financial Glossary Wiki.
On his first day (16 Feb 2006) of contribution, he tried to initiate some article related to finance, which is his area of study.
In his first article, he came up with a topic that he found it was quite hard to look up on the web when he did some research a while ago. The topic is closed-form formula, which is then broken down into two parts: bond duration closed-form formula and bond convexity closed-form formula.
The most challenging part in writing the article was that when editing the mathematical formula in Wiki syntax to be rendered as HTML and PNG.
He realises that the article still needs some further expert touch in order to make more comprehensive. He also believes that some finance professionals out there may also like to share some knowledge of the implementation regarding this.
He plans to continue to contribute some articles in the future. One thing he always keeps in mind, that is, knowledge is supposed to be free and sharing it is freewill.
